About me

I'm Indu, a multidisciplinary designer with a passion for creating thoughtful, user-friendly experiences that make a real difference in users lives. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of leading design projects for SaaS, POS, B2B, and B2C web and mobile applications across industries like travel, retail, finance, and customer experience.

What excites me most is simplifying complex problems and turning them into solutions that feel effortless. I enjoy every phase of a project, from early research, creating wireframes and prototypes to maintaining the design system/library. I specialize in integrating data-driven research insights with business objectives and strategies to create impactful designs.

Work Experience

Coforge - Sr. Product Designer

August 2020 – Present

As a user experience designer, I worked on a number of applications for H&T pawnbrokers, including a Point of Sale (POS) application, an Inventory Management System, an Admin Dashboard, and a Customer Account mobile app.

Point of Sale (POS) application:

Serves as a one-stop-shop for a range of services, such as Pawn loan, Loan Renew, Travel Money, Western Union, Cheque cashing, Retail. Running Successfully in 258 shops across UK.

Inventory Management System:

Design to keep track of inventory, Stock Transfers In/Out, Auctions, Supplier Management, Invoicing and Report management.

Admin Dashboard:

Designed to display multiple visualisations of Data based on the comprehensive and engaging view. Modules including Cash Management, user management, Notifications, Financial Crime alert, Customer Support alert etc.

Responsibilities

  • Engaged with stakeholders to identify gaps, business goals and prioritize the essential features and functionalities.
  • Led end to end design project and define UX objectives.
  • Facilitated design thinking workshops, user research, user Interview and user personas.
  • Created new components for the design system and effectively manage and maintain a scalable library of design system.
  • Ensure UI design pattern consistency across all applications.
  • Created wireframes & interactive prototypes for stakeholder's feedback & usability testing to validate design concept and design iteration.
  • Created user flows and process flow to ensure technical feasibility.

  • Collaborated with cross-functional team, multiple scrum team, product owner, business analysts, developers & QA Team.

Worked on number of projects for Travel & Hospitality services.

B2B web application:

Tailored for travel agents to facilitates the seamless booking for flight, hotel and holiday packages for their existing and new customer.

B2C web application:

An online booking engine to make flight and hotel reservations.

Responsibilities

  • Conducted User research and Facilitated design thinking workshops to identify gaps and abstract challenges
  • Created stakeholder personas & Heuristics Evaluation
  • Led end to end design project and created high-fidelity wireframes and an interactive prototype
